tapered threads, slip-joint couplings notbeing permitted. The brass ferrulesused are of best quality, bell shaped,extra heavy, cast brass, 4 in. long. Thesoldering nipples are of iron pipe sizebrass pipe and cast brass. The brass screw caps for cleanoutsare of extra heavy type, Vs in. thick andwith a flange 3-16 in. thick. The bodyof the cleanout ferrule is of the sameweight as for the brass calking ferrules.
