Description
English: Unknown date of this photo, but probably c1930 showing part of the lower Mazinaw Lake immediately south of the current Smart's Marina.

This road would have been a local road used to access structures and farms along the lake. The main road/highway of the day was the Addington Road which was about a kilometre west of this location.

In the mid 1930s, the road shown here was improved and became the provincial Highway 41 relegating the historic Addington Road to the history books. Traces of the Addington Road are still evident in the early 2000s along its 100 Km length.
