Essa é uma máscara Busó e veio de uma cidade da Hungria chamada Mohács, que atrai anualmente muitos visitantes no período do Carnaval. O motivo é o Busójárá, desfile de Busós, evento em que mascarados desfilam, dançam, brincam e fazem muito barulho pelas ruas da cidade, vestidos com assustadoras máscaras de madeira. Além da máscara, faz parte do traje Busó grandes casacos de lã de carneiro, calças largas brancas e botas, além de sinos e chocalhos de madeira. Cada Busó tem uma aparência única. As máscaras são artesanais e tradicionalmente feitas em madeira de salgueiro e pintadas com sangue de animais. Elas possuem um olho assustador, dentes à mostra, sobrancelhas franzidas, chifres de carneiro e cabelos de lã. As mulheres vestem roupas tradicionais Šokci, composta de saia, avental, xale e uma máscara com véu de renda cobrindo o rosto. A celebração do Carnaval em Mohács dura seis dias e termina com um ritual simbólico chamado de o “Enterro do Farsang”, em que um caixão é queimado na Praça Széchenyi para espantar o inverno e dar boas vindas à chegada da primavera. |
