Summary[edit]

Description
English: For two days at Christmastime in 2015 London Marylebone station was the terminus for Great Western Railway services from Swansea as nearby Paddington station was completely blocked by engineering work. The 'HST STOP' sign in front of power car 43128 isn't to stop drivers carrying on through the stop block, rather it is to encourage them to come right up to it. Even parked at this spot there was only about half a carriage length between the other end of the train and the starting signal (see File:Marylebone - fGWR 43029 Swansea service diverted.JPG).
