Description
English:

In 1886, Sidney Mitchell and F.H. Sparling established the Seattle Electric Lighting Company. Using a small steam generating station, it was the first company to offer incandescent electric lighting for Seattle citizens.

Perfect illumination, and safer than any other known light, being endorsed by fire underwriters...At a minimum cost, amounting to but 1 cent per hour for 1,500 candle power, which recommends this light for stores, factories, street lighting, etc. The whole plant required to produce this light is so simple that its use is unrestricted by any conditions...We have a few more county rights for sale.
