English: Market St. Oakengates, (Recreated Friths) Market St. Oakengates taken looking East from under the railway bridge. The Frith's photo (taken 1955) shows a large building on the left, this was demolished in the 1960s and 'New' Road was created. The volume of traffic has vastly increased, as has the lawbreaking, parking on pavements and on the zig-zags at the crossings is commonplace.
