Description 160606-N-WK391-015 GULF OF ADEN (June 6, 2016) Lance Cpl. Julian Liang attempts to take down Cpl. Oscar Ponce, both from 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), during Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) training aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18). New Orleans is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with embarked 13th MEU, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
