Description
English: Marble head with twisted plaits, the hair-style associated with the goddess Isis. It may depict a deified Ptolemaic queen. Hellenistic times, 300-100 BC. Found in 1981 at Arkesini by Evangelos Theologitis. Archaeological Collection of Amorgos, Inv. No. 276.
Čeština: Hlava se zkroucenými pletenci vlasů, styl účesu asociuje bohyni Isis. Může zobrazovat zbožštěnou ptolemaiovskou královnu. Mramor, helénistická doba, 300-100 před n. l. Roku 1981 ji v Arkesini našel Evangelos Theologitis. Archeologická kolekce na Amorgu, inv. č. 276.
