Русский: Данный атлас колониальной Южной Америки был составлен Мигелем Антонио Сиера. Сиера был выдающимся математиком и профессором астрономии в португальском Университете Коимбры. Он входил в состав миссии, которая была направлена для проведения границы между испанскими и португальскими владениями в Южной Америке после подписания Мадридского договора в 1750 году и Войны за покорение племен гуарани в 1756 году. Атлас посвящен южной части континента, в регионе бассейна реки Парана, где границы между владениями двух стран оспаривались особенно ожесточенно. В территорию, изображенную в атласе, входят современные Аргентина и Парагвай, а также часть современной Бразилии. Mathématicien renommé et professeur d'astronomie de l'Université de Coimbre au Portugal, Ciera faisait partie d'une expédition envoyée pour délimiter la frontière entre les possessions espagnoles et portugaises en Amérique du sud après la signature du traité de Madrid en 1750 et la guerre des Guaranis en 1756. L'atlas est consacré à la partie sud du continent, dans le bassin hydrographique de la rivière Parana, où les frontières étaient les plus contestées. Dans l'atlas, le territoire comprend l'Argentine et le Paraguay actuels, ainsi qu'une partie du sud-ouest du Brésil. A noted mathematician and professor of astronomy at the University of Coimbra in Portugal, Ciera was part of an expedition sent to demarcate the border between Spanish and Portuguese holdings in South America following signature of the 1750 Treaty of Madrid and the 1756 Guarani War. The atlas focuses on the southern part of the continent, in the watershed of the Paraná River, where the borders were most disputed. The territory in the atlas includes present-day Argentina and Paraguay, as well as part of southwestern Brazil. In addition to the maps, the atlas contains colorful pictures of local birds and scenes from nature.

O território, no atlas,a atual Argentina e o Paraguai, bem como parte do sudoeste do Brasil. Além dos mapas, o atlas contém ilustrações coloridas de aves locais e cenas da natureza.
