WRINKLED VARIETIES
LaXtOnian This is one of the finest
dwarf early peas. The vines
grow 18 to 20 inches high and produce an enor-
mous crop of dark green pods as large as
Gradus, maturing' a few days ahead of this
variety.

main crop varieties. Hardy,
prolific, producing vines 3% to 4 feet in length.
Pods large, pointed, dark green in color. Ma-
turing about the same time as the Admiral
Dewey.

best second
early, long-strawed, wrinkled varieties. Pro-
duces long pointed pods, well filled and of fine
table quality. Vines from 2% to 3 feet in
length. Considered one of the most desirable
for the market garden or home use.

blunt ended, well filled with fine quality peas,
a splendid cropper.

good cropper, produces small sized pods, well

leng^th. Broad and pointed at the ends. No
variety known will produce more pods, and no
pods could possibly shell out better. The Potlatch
variety from which everyone may expect great things

Thomas LaxtOn ,3 that of the Gradus, but is usually
three to four days later for market. The pods are square at
the ends instead of having a long, sloping point, and con-
sidered by some to be of a better flavor than the Gradus.

K^w^, • .^v.i^u....«^^ Produces a medium length vine and
an abundance of large, long pointed pods of a rich dark
green color. Well filled with large luscious peas. For main
crop or late variety in the home garden, it cannot be excelled.
Daisy, or Dwarf Telephone f^ruft \"?'r:-
markably even growth. From 16 to 18 inches high. The
stout plants are fairly loaded with large, bright green pods.
Each pod contains from 7 to 9 large peas of a light bright
green color, tender and well flavored.
Dark Green Telephone ^i^l^jTSeY-in^'heSt:
having beautiful dark green pods of very large size, contain-
ing 6 to 7 large peas of delicious flavor. Continues in bear-
ing for quite a long time.
Ideal (Wilt Resistant) ■^:'^^^^-;!:i^^^^ii;^i^-
yielding a large crop of very dark, pointed pods 5 inches
long. Vine about 2 feet tall and 100 per cent resistant to Wilt.
