English: In this image, a man stands between two very large logs, each appearing to be more than 5 feet in diameter. The location is identified as Lake Union in Seattle, which was home to lumber mills beginning in 1882 with David Denny's Western Mill on the lake's southern shore. There are additional pieces of cut lumber on the beach in the background, but no identifying buildings or landmarks.
