The Malabar Starling (Sturnia blythii) (Jerdon, 1845) [1][2] is a brightly colored starling with a distinctly contrasting white head and orange bottom. It is often found in open areas with scattered trees, near human settlements, looking for food on trees or on the ground, usually in pairs or small herds.[3]
