The Idanha Hotel hotel hosted many famous people including President Theodore Roosevelt, cowboy Will Rogers, actress Ethel Barrymore, and famed defense attorney Clarence Darrow. It was also the scene of an attempted assasination on Idaho Governor Frank Steunenberg in 1901. The Idanha Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
