erhalbseitigen Hypnose durch metallischen oder magneti-schen Transfert von der einen auf die andere Körper-hälfte übertragen kann. Nähert man z. B. einer Person,deren rechte Seite kataleptisch gemacht wurde, an diesereinen Magnet auf einige Centimeter Entfernung, so wirddie Katalepsie in wenigen Minuten aus der rechtenSeite verschwinden, in der linken hingegen eintreten.Wir fügen hier zwei Abbildungen bei, welche die Er-scheinung des magnetischen Transferts an einer hypnoti-sirten Person veranschaulichen. Dem in Rede stehendenIndividuum wurde im hypnotischen Zustande eine Be-wegungslosigkeit des rechten Armes suggerirt, derschlaff auf den rechten Oberschenkel niedergesunkenwar. (Siehe Tafel VIII.) Ein Magnetstab wurde an-genähert; der Arm begann sich zu heben, während derlinke Arm, der kataleptisirt war, im gleichen Masseniedersank und den Krampfzustand verlor. Endlichwar der entgegengesetzte Zustand eingetreten, der l) Vielleicht auch einen »autosuggestiven Transfert«. VIII.
