English: 11th Century Jain Temple of BairanPalli.
The temple locally known as Angadi Veeranna Gudi is a Jain Temple. Angadi Veeranna gudi Jain Temple: According to a stone inscription set up in front of the temple, during the period of Chalukya King Tribhuvanamalladeva (Vikramaditya VI) of the Kalyani dynasty, Biramaraddy, a Dandanayaka of Bhuvanagiri and two Karanams of Bekkallu had installed the Jaina image (on Chalukya Vikrama – 32, Sarvadhari Samvatsara Vaishaka, Shuddha Panchami – Bruhastathi varam = 1108 AD) and donated Mango garden as well as lands for repairs of temple and feeding of the ascetics. The temple which is facing east consists of Garbhagruha, Antarala, Mukhamandpa and Ardha – Mandapa. The doorjambs of the mukhamantapa are carved with poornaghatas on either side at the base showing the architectural style of those times. A Jain thirthankhara flanked by two nymphs on either side of him is carved on the lintel. An image of Gajalakshmi is also engraved on the doorframes. Full-blown lotuses are also inscribed on the ceilings of Mukhamandapa and in the Garbhagriha. 11 వ శతాబ్దానికి చెందిన ఈ జైన ఆలయాన్ని స్థానికులు అంగడి వీరన్న గుడిగా పిలుస్తారు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం అనేక ఆలయాలకు పుట్టినిల్లు. అందులో అనేక జైన ఆలయాలు కూడా ఉన్నాయి. ఆ కోవలోకి చెందినదే ఈ అంగడి వీరన్న గుడి.ఒకప్పుడు ఈ ప్రాంతంలో జైన మతం వర్ధిల్లింది. ఆలయం ముందున్న శాసనంలో రాయబడినదాని ప్రకారం కల్యాణి చాళుక్య రాజు అయిన త్రిభువన మల్ల దేవుడు (విక్రమాదిత్య VI ) వద్ద భువనగిరి , బెక్కల్ పరగణా లకు దండనాయకుడిగా పనిచేసే బైరామరెడ్డి అనే వ్యక్తీ చాళుక్య విక్రముడి పేరు మీదుగా సర్వాధి నామ సంవత్సరం వైశాఖ శుద్ధ పంచమి నాడు అనగా 1108 వ సంవత్సరంలో ఈ ఆలయాన్ని కట్టించాడు. దాంతో పాటు ఆలయ ధూప దీప నైవేద్య ల కోసం మామిడి తోటను , భూముల్ని దానం చేసాడు. తూర్పు వైపు ముఖం ఉన్న ఈ ఆలయం గర్భాలయం , అంతరాలయం, ముఖ మండపం , అర్ధ మండ పాలను కలిగి ఉంది.ఆలయ గర్భ గుడి ప్రవేశ ద్వారానికి రెండు వైపులా పూర్ణ కుంభాలు చెక్కబడి ఉన్నాయి.ప్రస్తుతం ఈ ఆలయం రాష్ట్ర పురావస్తు శాఖ ఆధీనంలో ఉంది.
