Fotografia portretowa wykonana w atelier zakładu fotograficznego „Wereszczagin” w Łodzi, przedstawiająca kobietę, mężczyznę oraz dziecko (prawdopodobnie rodzinę) w ciemnych strojach. W tle tapeta fotograficzna imitująca wnętrze mieszkalne. Dziecko stoi na krześle, przed nim znajduje się zabawkowy konik. Wyjątkowe na tym zdjęciu jest dziecko, które nie zachowuje portretowej powagi, tylko szczerze się uśmiecha. Zakład fotograficzny "Wereszczagin" (na niektórych fotografiach zniemczona nazwa "Wereschtschagin") funkcjonował w latach 1901-1919 przy ulicy Widzewskiej 130 (ob. ulica Kilińskiego). Został otwarty przez J. Millera, fotografa-amatora, na podstawie zezwolenia wydanego 24 lutego1901 roku. W sierpniu 1908 roku zakład został sprzedany Oskarowi Krauze, który prowadził go dalej pod tą samą nazwą do około 1919 roku. Na rewersie ozdobna reklama zakładu fotograficznego.
