Deutsch: Am Carl-Paepke-Platz befindet sich für den Greifswalder Carl Päpke, welcher auch unter der alten Schreibweise Carl Paepke bekannt ist, ein Denkmal bestehend aus einem Sockel und einer Büste. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass die Büste rekonstruiert werden musste, weil die von Bernhard Afinger modellierte aus Bronze bestehende Büste wohl im Zuge des zweiten Weltkrieges demontiert und für Rüstungszwecke verwendet wurde. |
