Summary[edit]

Description
English: The picture shows how MAP crystals formed after addition of magnesium oxide (MgO) in the settling phase. This is a view from above into the precipitation tank (which is shaped like a cone). In this chamber magnesium oxide is added, then urine and MgO are mixed (you can see one arm of the stirrer in the picture). You can see the level of the liquid along the white border.

This is a pretest with artificial urine (showing similar properties as real urine but without the typical colour) done at Huber SE in Berching, Germany.
