English: The 32 bit image shows a histogram of a filtered brain image, using the free software MANGO: http://ric.uthscsa.edu/mango/
The histogram depicts 3 classes that were used to filter the image: Image:Kasraie scalped 3d010r cal BET2 0001.png. The skull is absent. The tissue types were Grey Matter, White Matter, and CSF (hence 3 major peaks). There is some residual matter in the periphery of the brain. That is what the skewing left shoulder is. The original image was a T1 MRI performed at the same facility (UTHSCSA-RIC), where the uploader, the software (MANGO), and the scanners are based in. |
