Description
Deutsch: Historienstein von Paul Milles, seit Ende Juli 2021 am neuen Standort gegenüber vom Raiffeisenplatz, wo er seit 1985 in Erinnerung an die Burgkapelle aufgestellt war. Wegen eines Neubauprojekts der Volksbank RheinAhrEifel musste das Denkmal weichen. Vorlage für das Hauptmotiv des Steins, die Pietà, war eine Holzstatue, die ursprünglich in der Burgkapelle stand und seit den 1940er-Jahren in der Kirche St. Mauritius, Kärlich, steht.
