Description
Deutsch: Historienstein auf dem Raiffeisenplatz in Kärlich, 1985 in Erinnerung an die Burgkapelle aufgestellt. Bildhauer: Paul Milles. Vorlage für das Hauptmotiv, die Pietà, war eine Holzstatue, die ursprünglich in der Burgkapelle stand und seit den 1940er-Jahren in der Kirche St. Mauritius, Kärlich, steht. – Das Foto entstand kurz nach der Aufstellung des Steins. Wegen eines Neubauprojekts der Volksbank RheinAhrEifel wurde er von seinem Platz entfernt und auf dem Schlossplatz im Bereich der gegenüberliegenden Grundschule aufgestellt.
