Deutsch: Historienstein auf dem Schlossplatz in Kärlich, 1985 in Erinnerung an die Burgkapelle zunächst auf dem Raiffeisenplatz aufgestellt. Bildhauer: Paul Milles. Eins der Motive aus der Geschichte von Mülheim-Kärlich ist der Steppenelefant. Geschätzt 400.000 Jahre alte Funde des „Elphas trogontherii“ in der Tongrube Kärlich lassen die Existenz solcher Tiere in dem Gebiet vermuten.
