| Description |
English: Lyle Road and Lyle Hill. Lyle Road zig-zags up Lyle Road to the Free French Memorial 417332. The railway bridge is just to the west of Fort Matilda station 559636 and carries the Glasgow-Gourock line.
Lyle Road is used regularly for cycle hill climbs, the record of 3 minutes 47 seconds for the one mile distance being recorded by Sandy Gilchrist of Edinburgh in the 1983 Scottish Championship. |
