Lycaon vlucht iin doodsangst van hem weg, zijn hoofd reeds veranderd in een wolvenkop. Met deze metamorfose van mens naar wolf strafte Jupiter Lycaon voor het opdienen van mensenvlees. Ook gaat Lycaons huis in vlammen op - een andere straf voor het vleesmaal. Rechts wordt onder een poort een man neergestoken. Onder de voorstelling twee keer twee versregels in het Latijn. De prent maakt deel uit van een album.
