Summary[edit]
DescriptionLudlam Street bus depot, Bradford - geograph.org.uk - 657351.jpg |
English: Ludlam Street bus depot, Bradford In the mid-1980s, a volunteer group hoped to establish a West Yorkshire Museum of Transport, with sites at the Ludlam Street depot and at Low Moor. A publicity event was staged, and visiting buses included this one from Huddersfield wearing a special livery - that of the former Huddersfield trolleybus. Sadly, politics killed off the venture, insisting that private enterprise had to be involved, which led to the ill-fated 'Transperience' project. |
