The home of Dr. Louis Appia

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The place where Dr. Louis Appia (1818-1898), one of the co-founders of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, used to live in the Rue Guillaume-Farel of Geneva's Old Town. The commemorative plaque is decorated with a Red-Cross coating on the occasion of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, which was chosen as the date because of the birthday of the movement's main co-founder Henry Dunant (1828-1910).
