Summary[edit]

Description Lot 9428-4a: In New York – Brightest Lights In World Blacked Out. At 9:30 PM, looking south from the same spot on top of Radio Corporation of America building, a pall of blackness has fallen over the city. The glow of light in the background is from the lights of a part of the city not included in this particular blackout test. Silhouetted in this glow is the Empire State Building.
