Description Lot-9433-2: This U.S. Navy Warship Was Built In Only 60 Days To Set All-Time Record. USS Shubrick (DD 539) was launched at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia, on April 18, 1942, only after 60 days when her keel was laid on February 17, 1942. Shubrick served in Operation Husky and Operation Overlord before relocating to the Pacific for the remainder of WWII. Office of War Information Photograph, 16-22 April 1942.
