Description Lot-6089-11: USS Indiana (Battleship #1), damage following the General William “Billy” Mitchell aerial tests. Effect of 550 lb heavy case bomb, 190 lbs. TNT placed on superstructure just in front of the after stack. Hole in deck and uptake of stack was caused by the bomb. Wreckage of boat skid, etc., above was caused mainly by a later bomb.
