Deutsch: Sebastian Loscher: Sinnbildliche Darstellung der irdischen und der göttlichen Gerechtigkeit, 1536, Buchsbaumholz. Kaiser-Friedrich-Museums-Verein (Inv. M 83, erworben 1906), Dauerleihgabe an die Skulpturensammlung, ausgestellt im Bode-Museum Berlin.
Vor einer Renaissancearchitektur zur Linken und einer bebauten Hügellandschaft öffnet sich unter einem weiten bewölkten Himmel bühnenartig ein perspektivisch angelegter Bildraum. An einer Säule – dem Sinnbild für Macht und Stärke – lehnt die halbbekleidete Iusticia, die Personifikation der Gerechtigkeit. Vor ihr ein geflügelter Putto, der ihr mit seiner rechten Hand eine Waage entgegenhält und mit seiner linken auf ein unterhalb der Weltkugel liegendes Schwert zeigt. Iustitia wendet sich jedoch von den Zeichen irdischer Gerechtigkeit ab und weist zu Gottvater im Himmel, dem Quell himmlischer bzw. göttlicher Gerechtigkeit. Der mit Trophäen geschmückte Turm zur Rechten, der als Sinnbild irdischer Stärke und Gerechtigkeit zu deuten ist, ruht indes auf brüchigem Fundament.
