Summary[edit]

Description
English: in 1904, Loraine "Weeny" Rouwe of Spokane was two years old, and an orphan; however, he was also the heir to $12,000 in cash, plus $12,000 in real estate and livestock (to be held for him until he was 18). As well, his adoptive mother, Mrs Beetz, was granted $5,000 with which to raise him. In 1904, this was a substantial fortune.
