This is looking north from a bit east of Third Avenue on Jefferson Street in Seattle, across the building lot of what would soon be the somewhat short-lived Coliseum, on the site that would later be the County-City Building, now (2020) King County Courthouse. The visible buildings a block away are on the north side of James Street. The corner building at left, with the tower, is the Scurrey Building; the church near the right a bit north of James is the 1899 First Baptist Church, soon replaced by their current church on First Hill. The James Street cable car is up on cribwork.
