Description

St. Mel's Cathedral, Longford, County Longford, Ireland

English: Cathedra and attendant deacon's stools, carved out of oak by Angela Godfrey who worked with Rodney Forss and William Hall. The design of the cathedra refers to the fire of Pentecost (Acts 2:3). The inscription quotes John 21:17: “feed my sheep”. (See St. Mel's Cathedral Longford – Visitor's Guide.)
