Thetwo draft pieces extend through the bodybolsters between the plates of same, whilethe platform pieces stop off at the bolster.I In I-beams are tied laterally by twoplates, one of which forms the carry iron.The vestibules are further reinforced byan 8 x fs-inch wrought-iron plate that iskt in on the posts flush with the letter-board, and extending out the full length

The twelve low cane seats,upholstered in yellow plush, are in perfectharmony with the interior finish of thewhich is oak, varnished—no imita- entangling alliances with the porter,which is not the case with the hinged seat,as the polite attendant is almost alwaystoo busy gathering up the largess scat-tered on the table by the gourmet whodines too well, but with little discretion, tolend any assistance.
