Summary
[edit]DescriptionLlys-y-fran reservoir from the dam - geograph.org.uk - 398869.jpg |
English: Llys-y-fran reservoir from the dam The 200acre reservoir was built between 1968 and 72 to provide water for south Pembrokeshire and the oil industry. Provision was made to increase the capacity of the reservoir if necessary but although this was not done, a few years ago a 20% increase was achieved by raising the levels of the outflows.
The reservoir is used for recreational purposes including fishing, boating and walking around the circumference. |
