By these results it cannot remain doubtful which race is preferable. XIV. Dutch Cattle an Artificial Breed. It seems unfortunate that there should have been nmch feeling overthe name of a breed of cattle, really the most wonderful as milkers ofany known race. In the Eastern United States they are known as Dutch,Holstein, and Dutch-Friesian cattle. In the West they are almost uni-versally known as Holstein cattle.
