Summary
[edit]DescriptionLipoathropia semicircularis.jpg |
English: A case of lipoathrofia semicircularis developed in 36 years old male office worker due to prolonged pressure on the side of the thigh by the thin metal support of the chair's armrest.
The sitting position was slightly asymmetric, only affecting the left leg. The cause could be clearly identified, as symptoms developed within 2 months after switching to a home office setup, which also excluded tight clothing or strong electromagnetic fields. The chair model is the very common Ikea Markus, featuring particularly prominent armrest stands. |
