| Description |
Many people have commented on how much larger the LRVs are compared to the Hybrid buses. Here's an animated comparison of the two from inside IDS. I stacked the images on top of each other and the train fades in and out to help you see the difference. The reason the vehicles are blurred is because it's necessary to have a long shutter speed due to the low light of the station. Since the vehicles were moving, they blur in the shot. I didn't know whether a north or east bus would be coming next so I positioned myself halfway in between. And at least one would be blurred even if I had been shooting further north--Link stops in the center of the platform and not the end like the northbound buses. I took the two images previously seen in the static comparison <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/atomictaco/3661341603/">here</a> and animated the transition. I hope this makes it a bit easier to see. |
