Description
English: Ascospores issued from a diploid heterozygous at the spore-color locus, segregate as yellow and black. Different colors patterns reflect DNA recombination events during meiotic prophase. Lighter colors are due to incomplete maturation.
Italiano: Segregazione delle ascospore gialle e nere prodotte da un diploide eterozigote per il locus del colore delle spore. La disposizione dei colori riflette gli eventi di ricombinazione del DNA durante la profase meiotica. Colori meno intensi sono associati a maturazione incompleta.
