Summary[edit]

Description

Why the old Wanderers RFC Pavilion in what is now known as the Aviva Stadium should appear in the Commissioners of Irish Lights collection will probably remain a mystery but it is very opportune for the day that's in it! At 6.00 pm Irish time our Under 20's team will play in the final of the Rugby World Cup in South Africa against their Gallic and gallant opponents the French! The outside half is Sam Prendergast who plays for the Lansdowne Club and they are indeed a team of stars who have done Ireland proud regardless of the result today! BEIR BUA FIR NA hEIREANN, BEIR BUA!!!!
