Español: Foto de familia Lebanes en Belén en 1899 antes de emigrar al continente americano. Los dos padres vestidos con ropa tradicional de mediados del siglo XIX. La mujer vestida en un thawb con bordado geométrico de la comunidad palestina y el señor mayor se ve con un turbante. El joven del sombrero fez fue el que llego a México. La fotocopia fue encontrada en la casa de la abuela de una mujer mexicana de ascendencia libanesa con la original estando en la casa de su hermana en San Luis Potosí. La foto también fue publicada en un libro, "De Libano a Mexico Cronica de un Pueblo Emigrante". Este libro se sentó en la mesa de café de la Abuela en su sala en Juárez, Chihuahua. Allí, nombró a los tres. “Issa David Assaf y Anastacia Salvador de Assaf, con su hijo Elias en Belén 1899. Poco después de esta foto se embarcaron en dirección a América [el continente]”. Algunas historias decían que Elias era dueño de una mina en Zacatecas y luego la perdió ante Pancho Villa y luego se mudó a San Luis Potosí.
English: Photo of the Lebanes family in Bethlehem in 1899 before emigrating to the American continent. The two parents dressed in traditional clothing from the mid-19th century. The woman dressed in a thawb with geometric embroidery from the Palestinian community and the older man is seen wearing a turban. The young man with the fez hat was the one who arrived in Mexico. The photocopy was found in the grandmother's home of a Mexican woman of Lebanese descent with the original being at her sister's home in San Luis Potosí. The photo was also published in a book, "De Libano a Mexico Cronica de un Pueblo Emigrante". This book sat on the Grandmother‘s coffee table in her living room in Juárez, Chihuahua. There, she named all three; "Issa David Assaf and Anastacia Salvador de Assaf, with their son Elias in Bethlehem 1899. Shortly after this photo they embarked in the direction of America [the continent]." Some stories said that Elias owned a mine in Zacatecas and then lost it to Pancho Villa then he moved to San Luis Potosí.
