| Description |
English: A grab shot from the north end of Leicester Midland station taken on 24th June 1980. A Class 46 with split-headcode boxes sits by the Signal box waiting a path back into the station, whilst class 45, 25 and 08 are visible in the depot. A wonderfull array of ex-Midland Railway upper quadrant signals controlled the Midland Main Line at this point - now all swept away. |
