Reported to Haringey Council and Haringey Veolia the Council's waste contractors on 19 July 2017. I sent the report via the <a href="https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/1074314" rel="noreferrer nofollow"> free website Fix My Street</a> which anyone can use, and which I recommend. _____________________________ Huge budget cuts by the UK national government on local councils have, in Haringey's case, been worsened by the council's own profligate waste. To balance the books our Council has now imposed charges and increased previous charges for various aspects of waste collection. Many local residents have criticised these as unworkable. And likely to worsen Haringey's already nationally high rate of dumped rubbish. They may also be a significant backward move in recycling.
