Description
Nederlands: Leda is halfliggend, met de zwaan (Jupiter) tussen haar benen, afgebeeld. Ze kussen elkaar. Rechts zitten Castor en Pollux, de kinderen die uit deze verbintenis zijn ontstaan. Op de grond ligt nog een ei. Volgens het Latijnse vers in de ondermarge zit in dit ei het meisje Helena. Dit is Helena van Troje eveneens een dochter van Leda en Jupiter; prentmaker: Cornelis Bos (vermeld op object) naar ontwerp van: Michelangelo (vermeld op object)Onderwerp
