Le temple Maju Deval (Maju Degal) est au cœur du Durbar square ou Hanuman-dhoka Durbar Ce site est classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO Au centre de la photo, le temple Maju Deval, dédié à Shiva, a été construit à la fin du XVIIème siècle (1690) par la mère du roi de Bhaktapur Bhupatindra Malla. Devant lui, se trouve un petit temple blanc édifié dans le style hindou (sikhara) dédié à Kam Dev.
