Le Grand café, bar-brasserie sur la place d'Allier à Moulins (Allier), est l'un des plus beaux de France. Inscrit à l'inventaire des Monuments Historiques (1978), il a conservé sa décoration de 1899. De style Art nouveau (certaines parties sont de style art-déco), ses murs sont habillés de miroirs dont les reflets combinés déploient l'espace à l'infini. Selon le site de l'Observatoire de la franchise (Bistrot du boucher), M. Renoux, garçon de café à la brasserie parisienne Lipp avait décidé, avec un architecte italien, Golfione de créer un café brasserie à Moulins. Golfione y réalisa un décor, inspiré par l’Art Nouveau et confia la décoration du plafond à Auguste Sauroy dont la fresque représente la légende de Gambrinus, divinité à laquelle on attribue l’invention de la bière.
