Inscriptions UDALRICA ELEONORA
Notes In the second quarter of the 18th century, with the construction of the Ancestral Gallery of the Munich Residence, the portrait was identified, possibly by mistake, as portrait of Ulrika Eleonora (1688-1741), Queen of Sweden, hence the inscription on the frame. Painted by a French painter, most probably by Charles Le Brun, after original by Daniel Schultz "with a nipple visible" created around Marie Casimire's coronation in 1676. Current identification by Marcin Latka (Artinpl).
