Summary[edit]

Description
Français : Personnalités françaises et étrangères sous le Second Empire.
English: Original caption "Madame Henri Germain", presumably Henri Germain the banker. That makes her either Laure Clotilde Dumoy (1831-1867, in her thirties in the 1860s when this photo was taken, died age 36) or Blanche Vuitry (1841-1913, in her 20s in the 1860s, married Henri Germain in 1969, according to French Wikipedia). I'm guessing she's Laure Clotilde Dumoy Germain. The style of the photo seems wrong for a healthy newlywed, and the chronology is pushing it for inclusion in this photo collection.
