The ocean tug "Mahoe" was built at the Ballard Marine Railway Company for a Honolulu company. At the time of its launching, the 120-foot tugboat was the largest diesel tug in the world. This photo shows the "Mahoe" during the April 1925 launch ceremony in Ballard. The vessel is decorated with flags and carries a group of waving passengers.
