Overtones of the firm Cleanaway, previously Redland Purle and founded as Purle Brothers in Rayleigh in about the mid 1950s, but ending up as part of Veolia in 2006. (Interestingly Tony Morgan who had been Chairman and Chief Executive of Purle, and had been instrumental in setting up the National Association of Waste Disposal Contractors, had won a SIlver Medal in sailing at the Tokyo Olympics in 1964!) Later be became, inter alia, a Governor of the BBC). This smart firm, however , was started in 1994 by Frank Cleary according to their websiteThis very well presented Foden appears to be 3500 gallon Supatanker/Combi capable of carrying 2000 gallons of clean water and 1500 of dirty with high pressure hose and suction equipment. |
